Store Team Leader - Brooklyn

Love fine footwear and quality customer service?  Our small team is looking for a dynamic individual who shares our values and our aesthetic.  You will work in a warm, welcoming environment, with low-pressure sales, and where collaboration and new ideas are encouraged.

Maguire is a young and growing enterprise with a mission to high-end footwear and accessories at a fair price.  We do everything in-house: from design and production oversight to customer sales and service.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and serve in-store clients;
  • Help to achieve sales goals for the store;
  • Oversee inventory and warehouse management, in conjunction with the manager;
  • Oversee the fulfillment of online order coming from the store inventory;
  • Manage and resolve customer issues as they arise, with support from the customer service team and manager as needed;
  • Maintain product merchandising and visual presentation in store;
  • Help training other sales associates in product knowledge, visual presentation and sales techniques;
  • Share customer feedback with product development and marketing teams;
  • Miscellaneous tasks related to operations and management of the boutique. 

Skills & Requirements

  • 2-3 work experience in retail or fashion;
  • Work experience in sales or the fashion industry;
  • Strong oral communication skills;
  • Interest in local business is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Shopify POS is a plus;
  • Cares about outstanding customer service;
  • Independent, organized, and versatile;
  • An entrepreneurial team spirit. 

Employment Details & Benefits

  • Low pressure, non-commissioned sales.
  • Wage: negotiable according to experience, plus employee discount on purchases.
  • Part time (18-21h) or Full time (40h) position available
  • Store is located at 190 Berry St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
